Lovely. Beach. Studio. Three words that say it all about this place.

Lovely because as soon as you enter this little home, you're going to love it.

Beach because you can almost touch the sand of Barceloneta, as you'll be just a few metres from the beach.

Studio because its 25m2 are laid out as an open space cleverly designed for you to enjoy every corner to the full.

Here you will have everything at your fingertips.

A perfectly equipped kitchen and a bar with stools for your meals. A two-seater sofa in front of the plasma TV hanging on the wall. A modern, minimalist and spacious bathroom with shower. A double bed with a wooden divider to visually isolate it from the rest of the space. And even a desk corner so that you can work or study in complete comfort.

The high, bare ceilings, which show the warm tones of the brick, and the white furniture and walls dotted with natural elements, give this studio such a feeling of spaciousness and harmony that, every time you enter it, you will feel at home.

And all at street level, conveniently accessible and without having to climb the steep and narrow stairs that characterise most of the buildings from this neighbourhood.

You are in the seaside district of the city. The perfect place to enjoy the sea, the beach and the sun every day. To learn to paddle surf, swim in the Mediterranean Sea or run along the beach. To lose yourself in its narrow streets full of small bars and restaurants where local characters mingle with foreign visitors. To taste the most characteristic local dishes such as paellas and fideuás or fish and seafood in restaurants like Salamanca, Rías do Miño (both next to your house) or Can Majó, Barceloneta and Mar Salada.

But if you are not a fan of seafood cuisine you have plenty of alternatives: tapas bars, bodegas and vermuterías (such as Can Jordi, Jaica, La Cova Fumada, La Bombeta or El Vaso de Oro with its glorious steak with foie); Italian gastronomy such as the Calabrian sandwich shop Compá (don't miss its Tiramisú) or the pizzeria Nap Mar, brunch places (Buenas Migas, facing the sea, or Brunch & Cake), hamburger restaurants, empanadas, tacos...

If you want to buy your groceries like a local, do your shopping at the Barceloneta Market. There are also excellent bakeries nearby, such as Baluard (a neighbourhood classic), Mayer (French style), or Balboa (they make delicious cakes).

TRAVELING BY CAR?
If you’re planning on driving to Barcelona, rest assured we’ll help you park your car safely. We typically recommend booking your parking spot in advance online via Parclick.

In order to protect air quality and public health, traffic in Barcelona has been restricted from 1 January 2020. Therefore, the most polluting vehicles will not be allowed to circulate on working days, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Please enter the number plate of your vehicle to find out if it can circulate freely in Barcelonahere.

Vehicles registered outside Spain are not classified according to the environmental criteria of the Spanish Traffic Authority DGT. For this reason, all foreign vehicles must be registered before they can drive in the low emission zones. Applications can be made to include any kind of foreign-registered vehicle in the Register of Authorisations.

homeworking set-up – well, as comfortable as working from home can be!

House rules

Welcome to Barcelona! We are delighted to have you with us and hope you have an amazing time at our apartment. To make sure your trip goes smoothly, here are some basic ground rules that we kindly ask you to follow.

Please take the neighbours into consideration

We would appreciate it if you could keep any noise to a minimum after 10pm (so no parties or loud music, please) and to avoid letting doors slam shut or making too much noise when
entering and leaving the building. Your holiday is important to us, but so is the well-being of your neighbours, who still need to go about their everyday lives in peace and tranquility. Any guests who cause a disturbance by hosting a party or such like will be asked to leave the apartment immediately (no refund will be made in such circumstances). Please also be aware that you are not allowed to have more guests staying at the apartment than indicated in your reservation.

Keys and check-out

Please do not leave the keys in the mailbox when vacating the apartment. If you leave earlier than your check-out time, please leave the keys on the table and pull the door shut behind you.
The doors to most of our apartments do not need to be locked when you leave, which makes it very easy for you to lock yourself out. To avoid this, make sure you keep the key with you
whenever you leave the apartment and lock the door yourself.

No smoking!

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment. If you have to smoke, please go outside.

Save energy

We kindly ask you to please turn the lights and air conditioning units OFF whenever you leave the apartment.

One last request

On your last day, please wash the dishes and take out the garbage. Thank you!
